Hayden the Golf Club Gammon was in court and made comments about people who "identify" as black.

Oppression Olympics has some serious contenders this year.

Yes, basically she got criticised for judging some vogue competition whilst not being some sort of correct minority, so came back and said she was 'queer'.

Oh, I heard that one. I assumed she had come ut as something else this week.

I don’t dislike her as I feel she means well, but she just comes across as someone who either isn’t terribly bright, or is unable to see more than one side of an argument. I guess a little bit of a try hard.

No no no @inwood a woman who isn't solely attracted to men can be a number of different sexualities including bisexual, pansexual and queer (probably others that I'm not familiar with).

The problem is, she talks such bollocks and did it in such a self- serving way that people feel she's playing some linguistic trick and by 'queer' she really means 'straight'.

I think you have to be quite the knob for people to assume you are lying about same sex attraction.

Yeah not the brightest bless her. I remember when she had no idea that George Bush had started a war with Iraq (shes mid 30s), then blamed it on being South Asian?

She got a pasting for judging a dance competition which heavily involves gay culture. Those criticising pointed out that having a straight woman as a judge did not support the authenticity of what the programme claimed to be doing. Cue her coming out as 'queer', in a spectacular feat of convenient timing.
