Hi, was wondering if someone could clarify something for me and reassure me. I'm 25 weeks pregnant in 2 days, and started feeling movement around 22 weeks. I have read about the 10 movements in n 2 hours but am unsure as to what this means exactly. Does it mean there needs to be a period within 24 hours that you feel at least 10 movements within a 2 hour period, or does it mean you should feel 10 movements every 2 hours? I can't say it's 10 movements every 2 hours and have been so anxious. I've been up the hospital nearly every day and always they say the heartbeat is very good, but i still worry. Sometimes I focus on movement then panic because I don't feel anything; or I may only feel a slight flutter. What are other people's experiences?

Thank you

Hi OP, whatever you've read is a myth. Everyone's baby has different patterns and only you know what is normal. Please read through this link, they are a fantastic charity and work with the NHS. You may have seen their posters in your local maternity unit.

Any concerns needs to be raised immediately with your maternity unit. Do not delay under any circumstances.
