A bit light hearted.. do you ever just feel relieved you’ve managed to get through the weekend.. spent time with both kids, sorted laundry, tidied house, done pre work for work, walked dog etc etc... yes, I made it through the weekend... did you?

Yes I feel that way too! Managed to clean the oven, do work prep and walk the dog. I feel quite smug and accomplished SmileHalo...... until it all unravels around Wednesday. Dog hair everywhere and piles of washing again!

Yes, it does unravel by Wednesday. I’m super woman monday, Tuesday, I’ve prepped food and laundry doesn’t look like Mount Everest of clothes, come wednesday I’m a mess. My future self would be tutting at my present self sat on sofa sipping wine!

Yes, I survived the weekend just about. Survived 13hrs+ at work on Saturday despite being very short staffed. Survived being mummy today: didn't take DC to church, got them to do their homework though without too much drama even though it included painting, washed up, cooked meals that all 4 of us liked, washed their hair, put them to bed while DC2 cried hysterically because DH had gone out, ironed school shirts, made DC1's packed lunch, house still a tip though.
