Damaged roof.

The storm caused about 6 of my ridge tiles to come off my roof earlier.
I've never had to deal with anything like this before and DH is away.
Do I ring a roofer first, then sort out with insurance or do I ring ins company first then sort out roofer?
I'm in a bit of a flap!

Same problem here. I’m going to ring the insurers in the morning and see what they say.

Insurance first. Do you have emergency cover? They may send someone out / have a helpline.

Insurer, but if you have water ingress now you need to call the emergency number for your insurer so it can be made water tight.

Water isn't getting in thankfully.
