Flucloxacillin and cocodamol?

5 replies

MeanwhileAtNumber98 · 09/02/2020 13:18

I have a tooth infection, got an appointment in a few days to have tooth removed - something to look forward to! I have flucloxacillin to take, does anyone know if I can take cocodamol with it? I have googled but can't seem to find an answer 🤷‍♀️.
Thanks in advance, I feel like pulling it out myself right now.

I’ve taken the two together before, both prescribed by the same doctor so I presume it was ok?! Hope the antibiotics work quickly for you!

@Mushaboom
You'll do for me! Thank you.

Yes fine - they're two completely different things. One is an antibiotic one is a painkiller so no overlap issues

Yes I regularly take those two together. But I always suffer from thrush afterwards because of the flucloxacillin so watch out for iit 😩
