What’s the plan for today and what’s for dinner?

Play date at my sisters today after sausage sandwiches for breakfast and then swimming with friends and Lasagne for dinner. DH is doing DIY and it’s just for the best me and DD are well out of the way!

Just about to make some scones then it'll be board games or a movie since its wild outside. Making chicken curry for dinner (and a grilled chicken breast and potatoes for the ultra fussy one!!). Quite day for us.

Dh had to go to work and will be in until 5ish. Ds and i will be staying in all day. No idea what we will have to eat yet. Will ask dh later

Still sunny and calm here - we are on an orange warning.
DH is at church, DS and DD busy with school and uni stuff.
I've got some chores to do (change bedlinen, hang washing, perhaps ironing). We'll have an oven dish for our midday meal (see how I avoid using a proper English word here ) and then I'll have fun with languages.

Reading in bed with dd at the moment while DH collects ds from a sleepover.

Later we'll make waffles for brunch, play some board games, do some baking and take dog for a quick run away from the trees.

Dinner is a pimped up pasta bake.

I need to walk to the supermarket but I reeeeeeally don't want to go outside! Otherwise it's a chill day here

We’ve risked driving out to gymnastics . Planning on heading back after and staying in for the rest of the day . Dinner is going to be chicken and Yorkshire puddings .

I've been I'll so not been to shops etc. Weather is getting worse. Should I brave the bus and head out? Or it will need to be fish fingers for dinner lol

It’s my Birthday!! All DCs are home and we’ve had a nice lazy morning. Eating, laughing and generally not doing anything!

DPs and MIL will be over in about an hour for lunch.

More lazing and then snack shopping because DH, DD and I are staying up for the Oscars.
