Waiting for my Chinese takeaway to arrive with the cat on my lap watching Netflix. Husband's out and the kids are in bed. Rock and roll. (Also absolutely wonderful!)

DS and his GF had some dinner with us, they are off out to a party in five mins. DH and I watched some tv with them and then one more episode of our box set. DH is going to watch rugby on catch up and I will go on my games console. Will share a beer later and one or two more episodes of box set.

Moving the bins.

We've had dinner, DH is dozing and I'm wrapped in a throw nursing a cold and tickely cough that kept me awake last night. Flicking through the channels trying to find something to watch.

DH is working in his office next door. DD is revising for her first written uni exams. DS enjoys is last day of winter break. Tommorrow he has to read some Goethe.
I am doing nothing much of anything: watching Dracula on Netflix with half an eye, MN ...

Wrestling a thrashing, refluxy baby who wants to sleep but the pain won't let him. He is over his drug withdrawal (fostered baby) and now reflux has kicked in. Trying to write a "Goodbye" letter to my fostered 3 year old who will be moving to her forever family very soon and no idea where to start. Also trying to stop the puppy from cooking himself on the woodburner.

I've come to bed with my toddler. I was not in the mood for bedtime shenanigans, so thought I'd just cuddle DD up and read my book.

Son has just gone to girlfriends and I'm here with my daughter watching box set of ER, dogs are on the sofa and fire burning away. Wondering if storm will be as severe as forecast as my daughter is going to mainland for a birthday on a ferry tomorrow and there's always a risk they'll stop running!

Both kids sleeping, dh watching TV and I m on my phone. I enjoy this quiet time... 🙄 💝 💝

DH is ill, I suspect too ill to go away on scheduled work trip.
DC are in bed but still awake
Wind is just picking up here, I have a glass of wine and need to exercise the hamster who is taking nocturnal to the extreme

Just got in from taking DS and his friends to dinner for his 13th birthday. Now am chilling on the sofa watching Blackadder.

DH has got home from a conference and is now cooking us dinner. I’m losing around watching House and drinking wine while I wait. I’ve entertained DD and DS all day and played a lot of trains and playmobil so I’ve earned my rest.

I cancelled a (very rare) night out with friends and am watching Casualty. Got myself in a hole over some unpleasantries from ex and shut myself off.

I've just started watching game of thrones. Never got what all the fuss was about. Am on series 1 episode 4.

Ds is fast asleep, dh has been at work from 9am and won't be home until about 11ish. I'm catching up on my telly and enjoying my drink.

I'm at work. An on-call sort of role so its quiet and I can mumsnet alongside the other bits and bobs I need to be doing!

Having a quiet evening, watched the rugby, had a lovely steak and blue cheese sauce (DH is a great cook), now we’re watching episodes of The Stranger with a glass of wine or two. We don’t normally binge watch but we’re three episodes in so far!

I'm drinking a cup of tea & considering going to bed very very soon. I'm knackered.

Both girls are playing xbox nicely together but I don't think I can keep my eyes open much longer

Currently rewatching ER, but was dog sitting beforehand at my uncles.
