Is it a suitable size for a high school pupil to use as a school bag?
I can't find any size info on the website

It says large so I guess it would be OK.

However have just shown to DD2, y10. She said wouldn't be allowed at her school as too bright/blingy and thinks it would be too 'noticeable' so people wouldn't want it.

However I accept that different schools have different rules and trends.

I'd think it was maybe a little too young for some high school children, and if she doesn't like it don't buy it. My Mum used to buy me stuff she liked rather than letting me choose and I always resented it.

Dn picked it out so definitely likes it. She's only 12 and mad for anything glittery.
Only rules her school has about bags is no football colours or offensive slogans.

That looks lovely Teen but I'm a bit iffy about unbranded stuff off of amazon.

£40!! How long do you hope that will last for, OP?
I'm sure you can return it if it turns out to be too small, JL are good for returns.

TeenPlusTwenties · 08/02/2020 19:38

Cath Kidson stuff is quite well made so I expect it will last as long as she wants to use it.
If she's picked it out I'm sure it will be fine style wise.
You can always return it if needed.

I'd guess its this size if large kids.

TeenPlusTwenties · 08/02/2020 19:45

If it is 28 x 10 x 34cm as the one linked above, then when it arrives check it takes A4 books and plastic wallets.

We've just ordered a new backpack for DD2 as the zip broke on hers, and it is 33 x 10 x 45cm.
