Teeth straightening?

I’m 42 and just noticing my teeth, which have always been decent, are not looking quite as great as they once did.

I’ve always had slightly crooked bottom teeth which has never bothered me, however, my top teeth are now starting to look as though they are sloping back into my mouth a bit. This, I can’t live with!

I don’t think I need a major brace-type intervention, and looking around there seem to be other options (night time retainers, etc).

Does anyone have any experience of having teeth straightened as an adult and, if so, what would you recommend I look at?

I had invisalign a few years ago, a dentist friend had recently started using them so I got it cheaply if I agreed to be used in his advertising. My top front teeth were a little wonky, not hugely wonky and my treatment took 16 weeks. I wear my retainer at night and use it as a bleaching tray once a week.

The trays are really tight and they can be tricky to remove until you get used to them.

@kleew1 your teeth look great. I have a friend who has porcelain veneers and she looks great as well.

@itswonkylampshade ah thank you! This is so different from veneers as it’s basically white putty so I think a lot less damaging on your own teeth (but what do I know!) x

@kleew1 thank you! Ah you lucky thing! But £200 isn’t bad at all so I’m going to go for it. Your teeth look fantastic 😊
