Standing up, or sat down?! I was absentmindedly wondering this as I wrestled myself into tights this morning (standing up) and nearly fell over the cat
Plus it's Friday night and I'm bored so humour me Grin

Mostly standing up.

BirdieFriendBadge · 07/02/2020 20:56

I sit on the edge of the bed. Sock drawer is bottom of my dressing table which is my side of the bed.

SidsWife · 07/02/2020 20:56

Sitting down

BuggerOffAndGoodDayToYou · 07/02/2020 20:57

Sit down all the way through for socks. For tights I sit down until both legs at my knees then stand up for the rest.... just remembered when I was heavily pregnant my DH used to help with socks and tights as I couldn’t bend to reach my feet....

ClientQueen · 07/02/2020 21:07

I'm feeling weird with the standing up now Grin

Standing up unless I am poorly/ injured/pissed

cardibach · 07/02/2020 22:00

Sitting down for socks. I haven’t worn tights in years and can’t remember, but you’d have to stand up for at least part of it, surely?

TheWomanTheyCallJayne · 07/02/2020 22:04

Sitting down for tights.
Normally sitting for socks but not always.

TheWomanTheyCallJayne · 07/02/2020 22:05

Though I do have to stand after I’ve done the legs for tights of course.

Eeeeek2 · 07/02/2020 22:06

Standing up

OhWellThatsJustGreat · 07/02/2020 22:07

Sitting for socks, standing for tights (which I seldom wear) I hate wearing anything that encases my feet in all honesty.
Usually I'm sat at the bottom of the stairs putting my shoes on with socks.
I feel odd now 😂

homemadecommunistrussia · 08/02/2020 06:46

I am really surprised so many people sit down to put socks on. I associate it with being elderly, not sure why?

redeyetonowheregood · 08/02/2020 07:01

Sitting down. I hate appalled balance.

redeyetonowheregood · 08/02/2020 07:02

Sorry for that incoherent nonsense.

I have appalling balance.

HeronLanyon · 08/02/2020 07:05

Always sit for socks. Always. Always have.
Always stand for tights. Have found though I now incorporate a bit of a sideways lean against wall or doorframe if there is a wobble.

cardibach · 08/02/2020 11:08

homemade in my case it's because I don't wear socks in the house. When I'm putting them on I'm also putting on shoes and I sit down to do that.

homemadecommunistrussia · 08/02/2020 17:59

I don't sit down to put shoes on either, is that weird too?
