I'm looking at relocating. Cheadle Hulme looks lovely. Can anyone tell me anything about the place

Total suburbia - some nice houses, quiet estates, ok shops and restaurants but nothing out there .. it is just .. nice. Depends on what you want but I would die a slow death there .. better places around .. Altrincham didsbury hale heatons

It's alright, nothing special.

Like PP said there are nicer options in Manchester where you can probably get more for your money. Have a look at Stretford, Urmston, Sale, Altrincham - all nice family towns with shops, restaurants, great transport links and really good schools.

Some parts of it are right on the final approach for Manchester Airport so can be noisy (schools hill rd area/A34) Nice enough place otherwise - Stockport is a great place to live.

I live in Cheadle Hulme and it's perfect for us as a family with primary aged kids. Well located for road, rail and air and a nice vibe about it. Plenty of good schools, nice shops and lots of parks and stuff for families to do. Less funky than Didsbury etc but in my opinion much friendlier. Depends what you are looking for but we love it here.

I dont live there ,but three of my aunt's and family's live there ,it looks ok a bit built up but nice enough area ( im.a bit biased as we are North Manchester ) .
