Any suggestions for something we can enjoy together that's a bit more grown up but not too dark!
We watched Safe on Netflix and he has watched The Stranger. He really enjoyed both.
Thanks!

I'm fine with sweary films. They hear it from me too.
I'm more strict on violence etc but it really does depend on context.

Thanks so much!
I'm OK with swearing too, it's the really nasty murder things I didn't like. But I do like a good murder mystery, just without the dark side!

For something totally different and complete trash Tv, a cooking show called nailed it on Netflix ( cakes copied from instagram but look like I made them) you won't want to watch loads but it is quite funny

Frequency is good (crime show where a women can talk to her deceased father through a time warp), good omen is fantastic (apocalyptic comedy), I-island is great viewing (lost type thing) to.

Netflix -
Unforgotten. About murder but without being gruesome.
Manhunt Unabomber

Castle if you can get it anywhere, again murder but humourous. Loved Castle.

Also Death in Paradise.
