Posting for traffic.
I currently work very part time while caring for adult DD. I am also in receipt of universal credit, and unfortunately the dates of my assessment period mean that there are times in the year that I am classed as receiving 2 pays in the same month, resulting in a loss of UC.
I am aware of the case at the moment going through an appeal challenging this, but this is the first time I’ve heard of the possibility of changing the assessment dates - my employer said they’d rang the national CAB helpline.
Can anyone advise?
