After 3 years of private renting, moving twice, then LL selling up while in 8 months pregnant, then moving again, I’ve never felt settled or been able to call anywhere home. Thankfully, we are finally moving into our first home. It’s been a long time coming and I could cry from relief! We’ve work so hard to get here. However, We still have a lot of things to sort out and don’t want to spend a lot of money on ‘doing the place up’. We don’t have to worry about flooring or paint.
So what are the essentials I will need to buy? We don’t own any furniture as we rented furnished apartments. Any tips on living with essentials for a few months before saving to do it up? Got a 5 month old too, so any tips on how to make it easier on LO is appreciated too!
