Posting now as I can’t sleep or get confortmanle with the pain 
I’m 31, female and had the mmr vaccine yonks ago and was diagnosed with mumps on Monday and it is so painful. I feel like my left hand gland is going to pop out of my neck and it seems to just constantly sting! I always thought mumps were akin to a bad cold with swelling however unfortunately not.
Currently taking coedine but any home remedies would be appreciated! It’s day 6 so hoping it’s on the out 🤞
