leaving children overnight with nanny

Just wondering if anyone has left their children overnight with their nanny? Children at 4 and 6, nanny is full-time - worked with the family for about 2 years. 3 days 2 nights. Family friends live opposite just in case help is needed etc.

No experience of overnight stays
But I trust my nanny completely so if I ever needed an overnight, it wouldn’t concern me in the slightest

Do you have concerns?

no concerns - its just ive never left them alone overnight that's all. I suppose its like ripping bandage off. I trust her 100%.

We had to do this when we had an emergency, DC the same ages - they had a blast, nanny was brilliant, and it actually was such a weight off my mind that we could deal with the emergency while the kids stayed at home in their usual surroundings and routine instead of being carted hours away to be ignored as we sorted the emergency.

Yes, once or twice a year for the last 18 years.

I do have an age gap, I am not leaving an 18 year old to be minded by a nanny.
