Baby spots

Hi mums, cam anyone offer me any advice? 5 month old has came out in a few spots. There's only about 3 of them but look like regular adult pimples and doing nothing hasn't helped and neither have any of the home treatment such as calendula baby face cream or aveeno. They seem to be getting redder by the day. We have a photoshoot in a few days and really need advice as to what I can put on them to help clear them up. Sudocrem and nappy rash creams haven't helped xx

The photographer will Photoshop them out so don't worry. Don't put anything on them, other than moisturiser. Anything else will be too harsh for a baby's skin.

Have you started weaning, changed creams, washing detergent, bath products recently that could be causing them?

Have you had him checked for impetigo? They sort of looked like acne when my DD had them

Would like them sorted otherwise though as just annoying when not getting any better when doing nothing or when trying sudocrem, nappy rash cream etc. Need something to help with the redness. Haven't started weaning yet or changed detergent. And using the same aveeno moisturiser I always had been. Unless they're just caused by blocked pores. Hands now in mouth and touching everything in sight so could be just that too I guess xx

Looked up impetigo and doesn't look like that. Not as sore looking and no pus etc. But might be worth a trip to doctor in case he can prescribe something xx

Do they just look like baby acne or milk spots?

Just like baby acne. When he was a newborn he didn't have any milia at all xx
