Packing for Prague in February - help please

3 nights, hotel, 10kg cabin allowance plus small bag, no children (yessss!). Travelling with DH.

I feel the cold... Have thermal leggings and tops, warm boots. Thinking casual as we won't go out to high end places, more family run restaurants, coffee shops etc.

So, jeans with thermals underneath, ski jacket and down gilet under, cashmere jumpers...? Any advice welcome 😊 weather forecast says around 5 degrees and dry.

You must really feel the cold. I was there in March 3 years ago and just wore normal jeans, thin knit jumper and a coat.

Yeah I just checked, it's the same temperature in Prague as it was in my village today, I think you'll be fine in your usual clothes

Have a lovely time

My usual clothes are as above 😂

Thanks

Coldest place I've ever been! Even my teeth were cold....

I went to Prague in February a few years back and I absolutely froze!! I noticed the locals wore thick russian-style hats, and super thick coats. Definately take hat and gloves, and I would recommend some re-usable hand warmers to put inside your gloves.

Places to eat were very casual, jeans etc and warm cosy clothing.

Footwear - some areas are cobble stones so make sure you wear comfy boots, we did a lot of sight-seeing on foot.

Ha, I must be getting more northern in my old age. I ate my lunch outside in a long sleeve T-shirt and leggings today 😳😃

I went 4 years ago in February for my 5th wedding anniversary. No snow. It was cold but bright with sunshine. We were fine in jeans, hoodie, trainers, parka jacket and a hat.

Lordy I'd be baked alive in your wardrobe OP! I'm a regular winter visitor to various Eastern European cities and never wear a hat of gloves I do wear socks though
