Hi MNHQ we would really appreciate a webchat with the Minister for Women and Equalities dedicated to gender issues and women's rights?

Is there any chance you could make a request? I realise gender issues are dominating existing webchats and it is irritating, but there are many, wide-ranging issues that many of us are concerned about and would really appreciate the opportunity to discuss with someone on power.

Sounds good to me

Do they just approach people without a hook I wonder. Clearly the Labour hopefuls are on for a reason. What would be on it for anyone else?
Apart from the opportunity to prove they actually give a shit about the rights of women and children always, not just whe there's a leadership battle.

Oh thats good stealth

This is a brilliant idea. An opportunity for Justine to demonstrate that she is invested in free speech and for government to engage with us about an important issue that needs addressing.

I doubt it'll come to anything but good to hear they have listened to me

Women are being shut up about the large, legitimate concerns they have about women's and children's rights. I appreciate this isn't MN's problem to solve but it would be good to know if anyone in MNHQ shares our concerns at all. For example the labour leader hopeful asked if it's OK to put a man in a woman's jail. Answers only in the context of sympathy for the poor man.
what about the women?
What about the women?
What about the women?
