Low progesterone causing miscarriages??

Hello

I have just had my 3rd MC/chemical pregnancy (5 weeks/ 6weeks/ 5weeks) since Aug 2019.

I have a DS (5) who was a straightforward pregnancy, no issues before or during pregnancy.

We are now waiting for a referral to a recurrent miscarriage clinic. I have been driving myself mad with incessant google searches.

My question, has anyone experienced low progesterone after a normal pregnancy? Low progesterone seems to be something I keep coming up with online, but don’t understand if I could have “developed” this? I have just turned 35.

It naturally can fall as you get older. I was diagnosed with it around 34 but when I got my blood tests back a year later it was back within normal range. A lot can change hormonally between 30 and 35. I’m sorry about the miscarriages and wish you well with ttc. The good news if it is low progesterone that is behind the miscarriages it’s quite easily remedied. Progesterone cream helped me get back to normal.
