it's a music based word association game.
you think of a song/album/artist that links to the word in bold in the last post, then post that as song/album - artist and choose any word in your post for the next poster to link to by making that word bold.
So, above the links were:
suit -> birthday
ink -> writer
paperback -> penguin
and the next post would link to automatic in some way... eg. operator's manual - buzzcocks and chose a word from within that to bold for the next poster to link to - so could be operator, buzz, cock, manual etc.
does that make sense, even if a bit waffly?am rather bleary eyed...

oh, and meant to credit the lovely cazziecatsrock for originally starting the game some years ago now.
