Re registration of a child's birth to add natural Father

Hi, my Son was born in 2010, he's 9 now and when I registered his birth his Dad was working away (we aren't married) and I had to register the birth without him there, meaning that only I am on our Son's birth certificate. I am applying for his first passport and I need a copy of his birth certificate showing both parents on the certificate so we are re registering the birth this week (finally!).
Has anyone done the same and can tell me will it be the same questions as when I first registered the birth? Or will it just be asking for Dad's info this time? I'm nervous about it, god knows why haha! I think it's because it's been left for so long. It's something we've known we've got to get done but we've never got round to doing it until now. Better late than never I suppose Grin

You can apply for a passport with just your name on the birth certificate so long as you are British
