Feeling low and down in the dumps. Kids did nothing but scream all day. Dh is ok but he tends to do outdoor jobs / works a lot so all the boring jobs are left to me. Both our parents are quite needy. Then I went part time at work and sil made comments as if I am off partying while dc are at school and pre school (only get two hours or so twice a week to myself)
Plus I pay equally into mortgage etc so don't take a penny off dh.
Anyway.. I let people hurt me with comments and then stay away from people making me more isolated.
Watching Call the Midwife and will have wine later but long term.. How can I be happier?

Sil didn't mean anything I don't think but doesnt understand as no kids yet and spends her free time as she pleases.

I don't know but I feel quite similar at the moment. Work out what you want and take a step to get nearer to it. You need a break- can you plan a dinner out or a spa treatment or whatever you are into?

Thanks queen.. I think I will book something to look forward to or take next Sunday for myself and dh can sort the dinner and kids. Might be more appreciated that way.
