Feel a bit of a dick posting but tying myself up in knots. DD (6) has been having tummy aches and leg pains for ages. Finally took her to the GP and she said to test for coeliacs. I assumed she would be anemic as very pale and tired. Got a call from a different GP who said not anaemic, her FBC came back all fine but one of her tests came back very low. He said it's a sign of a serious illness but didn't want to tell me more so I didn't Google it. He said it's probably not life threatening and has referred her to a paediatrician. I was so shocked I didn't ask any questions. We have now been referred to Immunology in March.
What might I expect? I'd like to prepare some questions, understand what will happen at the appointment. The GP has said they will want to run more tests. But he was so vague.
