What's everyone up to today?

I'm up later than usual so expected there to be one of these already but can't see one.

I'm drinking tea, dd2 is watching youtube in bed, and I think dd1 is still asleep but haven't checked yet.

I've just put a joint in the slow cooker so all I need to do later are veg and roasties (maybe yorkshires too, we'll see).

I need to iron all our uniforms, and bake with dd2 for packed lunches. Will probably wash and tumble the towels too.

Dd1 has history homework to do, and dd2 needs to read and practise her spellings so we'll do that after lunch.

I also have a short list of things to do for work (e-learning...yay and a few things for my Rainbows and Guides for Tuesday. I'll check I have everything I need for both meetings too so we can pick up anything else on the way home tomorrow morning.

I don't think I am going to leave the house today . Really busy week last week and another one coming up.

I need to write two reports for work before 10am tomorrow which means doing them today, washing, a bit of cleaning as if I don't clean (the kitchen floor in particular) it won't get done for another week.

I am wiped tbh!

Left the house early with DS (15) to drop him at a tournament he's playing in. Breakfast at MuckyDs with younger DC, cinema to see Paw Patrol (managed to nap through it), shopping and new school shoes bought, home and prepped the veg, cleaned up, did the washing. DC have now got their train track out and will be content so I'll be doing some uni work, maybe a walk later, and an early night!

DH is in bed with blatant man flu. My DC are playing on my iPad together, for a wonder with no arguing! They’ve had too long really but it’s so rare they can play on it nicely together that I’m loath to interrupt. I’m MNing but ought to be doing the washing up. Or the laundry or something productive. Meh.

We're having a duvet day. All showered and fresh pjs or joggers/ hoodies. Ordered Domino's for lunch. Board games, films, naps.

Family get together to celebrate nieces birthday. It’s nice to have a reason for a get together in feb, as it’s a bit of a nothing month otherwise. The rest of the families birthdays are condensed in to June, July and August.

Then the usual Sunday chores, laundry, vacuuming, a bit of work before tomorrow.

Currently sitting on the sofa thinking about opening the 🍷. I've had a lovely day, shopping with my teenager. Worn out now from a lot of walking, is it wine o'clock yet?
