Has Anyone Ever “ Asked The Universe” to help find something?

It’s only a little thing but I’ve misplaced a teddy key ring that DD won for me at the amusements today. Really baffled as I’m so convinced I put it with another one next to my main keys. Does it work to “ask the Universe” where something is, bonkers as that might sound?

I asked St Anthony despite my scepticism. It suddenly clocked in my mind where the item may be. It had fallen behind some furniture.

Bunnylady54 · 02/02/2020 18:07

Anyone else?

Yes. Lost passport. It was exactly where I had left it,and looked for it a dozen times...

marshmallowkittycat · 02/02/2020 18:16

No harm in doing it, but I wouldn't as I don't believe it works! If anyone finds something after 'asking the universe' it's likely you were going to find it anyway. Or by surrendering to a 'higher power' you relax a bit and have a clearer mind.

Asked St Anthony as a sceptic - at least three times as my wedding ring turned up the first time I asked. It’s worked every time.

Elieza · 02/02/2020 18:26

I ask for stuff all the time. Why not Smile

GETTINGLIKEMYMOTHER · 02/02/2020 21:07

An Irish friend swears by St Anthony and despite being an atheist I have to say I did try him and it worked for me (I was in a frantic tizz over a diamond ring.)

I ask the Boggarts. They normally return it to the middle of the sitting room floor or somewhere equally baffling. But you can only ask them as a last resort because once you’ve asked them you need to stop looking yourself.

Charles11 · 02/02/2020 21:12

Just try it and report back Smile

HellonHeels · 02/02/2020 21:14

I ask St Anthony for his help. Works for me. The sceptic in me thinks it's because i relax a bit after i ask him and then my brain works better.

ZenNudist · 02/02/2020 21:15

Tony Tony look around, something is lost and cannot be found.

My mum swears by St Anthony.

Have you said the name of the item out loud so it knows you are looking for it ?

Just in your normal voice say, 'teddy bear keyring won at the fair by DD.' The continue to look. I'm assuming you've checked:

Your pockets
Your handbag
The car
Asked your DD if she's seen it
Looked in your usual safe places where you put things
Retraced your steps back to the front door/car/what ever is relevant
Checked your keyring/s
Looked on the key hooks if there's any in your house
Look in yours and your DD's boots, shoes etc in case it fell

BertieDrapper · 02/02/2020 21:20

Yep always and always works.... wish my DH would ask the universe before asking me when looking for stuff he misplaced.... 🙄

Also ask for parking spaces.

AutumnRose1 · 02/02/2020 21:21

I was going to say ask St Anthony but only because I heard Marian Keyes say it 😂

Happydaysareheretostaywayhay · 02/02/2020 21:21

I do this a lot with big and small things and it’s always worked. I say thank you 3 times for ... as if I’ve already got what I’m asking for. I also try to be grateful and pay things forward x

BertieBotts · 02/02/2020 21:34

My mum always asks St. Anthony and sometimes she dowses for lost things! Once her dowsing pendulum kept insisting a lost key was not within the house or boundaries, but was under the driver's seat in the car. She looked there thoroughly and didn't find it, but couldn't work out what it was trying to say. After a while she decided to drive back to Lidl where she'd been that morning and look in the car parking space - and there it was. Bent due to being run over but exactly where the drivers' seat would have been when she parked!

theThreeofWeevils · 02/02/2020 21:35

St. Anthony's your man, most definitely.

eosmum · 02/02/2020 21:39

St Anthony has been letting me down for the last two years😢😢 I’m desperate to find something of huge sentimental value and despite my constant requests still no sign.

FecktheBoss · 02/02/2020 21:40

By any chance, do you think St Anthony would be able to find my lost pelvic floor?

CandyApple1995 · 02/02/2020 21:43

@Fecktheboss 😂😂😂😂😂 please ask him and let me know if it works 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

buckeejit · 02/02/2020 21:46

Aye st Anthony's yer man.

I have a habit of hiding precious things when we go away & lost a beautiful antique necklace that bil bought me & a lovely ring.

They were missing for 2 years + & I was bemoaning it to someone who'd lost something. She said she'd pray to St Antony for me & I relayed the story to dh that evening. He hoked on a bookshelf & found them that night! I was beyond delighted. I had looked everywhere for them several times but I'd hidden them inside a book Confused

AutumnRose1 · 02/02/2020 21:51

Can St Anthony find lost motivation?!

HellonHeels · 03/02/2020 00:56

Also ask for parking spaces.

Yes! I've done that too.

HellonHeels · 03/02/2020 00:58

BertieBotts how does your mum do the dowsing? I mean, how did it indicate the lost key wasnt in the house?
