Gravy question

managedmis · 01/02/2020 22:02

So I'm making a roast (5 hours time difference here!) and want to make good gravy.

I have :

Roast chicken pan juices
A chicken stock cube
Carrot water
Flour

Tell me what to do!

Boil up the carrot water with the stock cube to make stock

Add a spoon of flour to the hot pan with chicken juices and let it cook out for a couple of minutes

Add the stock slowly until you have gravy that's the consistency you want.

Enjoy!

Yes, I have wine, it's red. Will that work?

I’m feeling hungry now! Could just go some chicken, potatoes and gravy! Grin

It was really good! I let the gravy reduce a bit more, it was really tasty.
