I'm sitting here on a Saturday night desperate for some company and some help. My dd is calling me to play with her and I'm so low and empty I do r feel I have the resources to get through the rest of the night.

I didn't want to read and run, but are you a single parent? I went through this when mine were little and I was on my own.

Assuming you are, try looking for the positives: your dd can go to bed a bit later because it's the weekend. Could you sit and watch a film together knowing you don't have to rush to school in the morning?

You can do it OP. It's hard when you feel low and alone but you'll get through it. What does she want to play? How old is she?
