I must be one of the least woo believing people on the planet but I had a bit of a strange experience today.
I had lunch with my sister and we spent quite a lot of time reminiscing about our childhoods. One of the topics of conversation was our late Dad's musical tastes, the songs he used to sing for us when we were little, and how much we miss him. When I got home I went into the kitchen to make a cup of tea and switched the radio on. First of all there was some hissing, like the station wasn't properly tuned in, so I went to move the dial and immediately one of the songs we had been talking about came on. It isn't a well known song and I can't actually recall ever hearing it on the radio before. How odd!
I don't really believe in "messages from the other side", but at the same time I found it strangely comforting. If nothing else, hearing it brought back some happy memories, even if it wasn't my Dad's voice. Of course it was just a coincidence. A strange coincidence though. And quite a nice one.
