I had some carbuncles on my fanjo (and one inside my anus). I t wasn't a boil - nothing to pop. I think I had a bad thrush attack plus was very stressed (mum had terminal bowel cancer). Unfortunately, I was staying at mum's. It was over Easter, and it took time to be seen by a doctor. I had to register. So in the meantime, I took salt baths, smothered myself in TCP and Sudocream and eventually got some antibiotics from the Doctor.

It was really uncomfortable. It felt like someone had attacked me with a flamethrower between the legs. Very sore. This was over Easter and after mum died in June, I went to a friend's 50th birthday and she suggested I had diabetes. I long suspected this but a strip test (used on her dog normally) confirmed this! I had gone several times to the GP asking for a test that came back ok but knew in my heart I was diabetic and I now have type II.

I had a bartholins cyst a year ago. Hurt like a motherfucker and mine was right underneath on my labia. I couldn't go to work as I couldn't sit at my desk. Mine popped in the bath but they can need surgically removing. Still have salt water baths. It will help heal it. Oh and hot as ypu can stand too I was told by the GP.

I had a bartholins cyst about 25 years ago. OMFG I wouldn't have believed it could be so bloody painful. It eventually burst when I was straining a little to have a poo! The blessed relief. I was told that since I'd had one,I was probably prone to them and would get them from time to time. Touch wood, I never have (yet!).

It's what led me to being diagnosed with type 2 diabetes, too, recurrent abscesses down below.
