I found out at my 12 week scan that id had a missed miscarriage. Baby stopped at 10weeks 2 days. I decided to go home and wait for a natural miscarriage which happens on Jan 10th.. 3 weeks on Iv been having stomach and back ache so went to the doctors. They checked my bloods which are still showing in the positive band.
Iv been booked in for a scan on Monday to find out what’s going on. Has anyone ever had this happen?! I’m guessing the miscarriage is incomplete. Just wondering what happens now?! Going to be a long weekend . 😏

I’m sorry. Flowers

I waited seven weeks and didn’t miscarry naturally. I then had surgical management and physically it was a very quick, easy and straightforward operation.

I'm really sorry to hear this. I've been there and it's the pits. Flowers

So sorry to hear this Flowers

I had scan at 9 weeks and was told babies heartbeat had stopped, I decided to miscarriage naturally and the heavy bleeding started immediately with clots and very painful cramps which lasted near 2 weeks.

I am so so sorry Flowers

We found out on 3rd January that our 4th baby had died (3rd missed MC). I went for surgical management as I had done it twice before and it is quick and no waiting to for it to happen naturally which could take several weeks, as PP has said.

4 weeks after my surgery and I only just stopped getting + tests a couple of days ago. It does take a while for the hormones to leave the system.

Thank you everyone for your support. I’m hoping they are going to say it’s complete at my scan and just a case of waiting for the hormones to drop. I just assumed after 3 weeks they would be down and not still showing as positive..

I too waited for seven weeks for nature to take its course. It was horrendous, just in limbo. When it did happen at 19 weeks was taken into hospital for a D&C, as they used to call it. Happened again. In those days (the 70s) that was all they did, just told to stay at home and wait.
But glad to say that the next two pregnancies were fine.
