Second driving test- help!

Have my second driving test next week after failing my first last month. Got one major and three minors but just really felt uncomfortable with the examiner, he didn't smile once, say hello or introduce himself and I felt so nervous and close to tears the whole way round. I know they're not there to be your mate but just a smile would have made me so much less nervous!

Same test centre next week and shitting it that I'll get the same examiner. I'm already in an automatic so I don't feel like it should be difficult at all - no stalling or gear changes to contend with, no hill starts etc. Feel pathetic that I find the whole thing so terrifying. Anyone got any tips?!

I just failed my 3rd yesterdaySad. I kept saying I hope I don't get the same examiner as last time as although he was nice and friendly he made me feel really intimidated during the drive. In the waiting area yesterday and 4 others on their test I watched as all the exmaniers came out and of course I got him Grin.

I took beta blockers this time and they really helped (not enough obviouslyHmm). First 2 tests I got a serious for the same thing and yesterday I didn't even get a minor for it but I did get a serious for my parallel park and 10 minors for other faultsBlush.

Oh I'm sorry rotten, it sucks doesn't it. I wondered about Beta blockers.

I'm so annoyed as I got such an easy test route on my first go - I live in an area with loads of very difficult roundabouts and slip roads leading onto dual carriageways and I was dreading getting them, but I didn't. I didn't even have to do parking - the only manoeuvre I got was pull up on the right!!!

I failed on an emergency stop. Apparently I didn't stop quickly enough.

I got pull up on the right on my first 2 tests. If I'd got that yesterday I would have scraped through by the skin of my teeth and passed but typical. I've had easy routes all 3 times. The first two I got a couple of minors and then a serious both times for approaching junctions too fast. So it's annoying me even more that I managed to correct that but failed for the parallel park and then to have 10 faults just felt like I'd took a massive step back.

During the first two tests I was shaking so much and couldn't focus but yesterday after taking a beta blocker I felt totally in control although I was still really nervous. You should try it if you think it would help.

Oh no that's rubbish that you failed for the emergency stop, I find it more frustrating to fail for one thing rather than a combination of faults. My instructor said to me yesterday that the examiner I had is known for being really strict during tests but I think he may have just been saying that to make me feel better as I may have said I hate him and he's a dick (not to his face Grin). He actually seems really nice he's very friendly when he introduces himself and during feedback but during the tests I just felt very tense and intimidated by him. Didn't feel like that with the first examiner.
