Bastard iTunes

I hate it. I have always hated it.

I need to transfer some mp4s onto my iPhone (work provided handset, no choice in the matter).

Why can't I just drag and drop into a folder like everything else in this world?
Why must I have to go via iTunes and upload to there and then sync/backup/apply/whatever the fuck other witchcraft/sheer luck to get the files onto my phone?

Why is it such a nasty, un-intuitive interface?

Bloody company is supposed to be the god of all things intuitive and user friendly though. The phone itself is easy enough to use, after all.

Was this an April Fool's prank they forgot to turn off?
Did I somehow displease Steve Jobs in a previous life?

Are the mp4s for work? If my employer gave me an iPhone for work, I would only use it for work, grudgingly! I had iphones for years but i moved over to Android a few years ago and I don't think I could go back now.

Unfortunately so. As I say, I like the iPhone to use day to day, just not when I need to do this sort of thing.

I had a similar issue with videos on my (personal) Android tablet/SD card, but I figured it out without to much hassle. And certainly without wanting to smash things!
