I think I saw blood in my vomit, there was some red but not sure if it was the tomato sauce from my pizza for tea also in agonising pain what can I do to feel better

If you're in agonising pain, vomiting, and probable blood in vomit then a&e sounds like the place for you. Unless you just mean the pain of a stomach bug?

Chocolatethief · 30/01/2020 03:48

I dont know, it suddenly came on this painful about 11 and then have thrown up a few time but not feeling sick I'm so confused 111 online said to go a&e but I cant as I would have to get a taxi and cant risk that incase I throw up. I just want it to stop had a uti last week and that pain was awful but not as bad as this.

Can you go in a taxi but with a bucket or washing up bowl in case you are sick?

Plus plenty of loo roll / wipes.

Is there anyone (friend, family, neighbour) that could take you?

I dont know anyone near me that drives and I'm worried that if they see a bucket they wont take me I'm also worried incase it is just a stomach bug and I'm wasting there time

How bad is the pain? Like on a scale of 0-10?

Tbh iT probably is a bug but you've been advised to go to a@e so I'd try really hard to make it.

What are your temp and pulse rate like?

Chocolatethief · 30/01/2020 04:12

Rang 111 for advice but they want to send ambulance dont even know how I'm gonna move to let them in had to stop myself screaming in pain on the phone and probably a 9.

Out of hours doctor rang and said I would be fine to just get an appointment today at my doctors but feeling ok since I woke up so haven't done but will make a normal appointment to talk about it, it's happened before think it just scared me so much with the blood this time and the fact I was alone. Cant work out if there is something going on or if it's a bit of health anxiety creeping in as my grandad got diagnosed with cancer the other month although at the same time I have never been to the doctors and not had anything wrong with me.

So 111 didn't send an ambulance then?

Chocolatethief · 30/01/2020 13:24

I dont know what happened they said they were doing so I'm guessing the ambulance service passed it over to out of hours
