Not sure if I'm in the right place but someone might be able to help,my old phone went kaput last year so my oh splashed out on a new phone for a decent one or so we thought going by what it cost (£100) well I've had nothing but problems with it I downloaded the apps I use did it all properly but the apps close down halfway through using then and it doesn't matter what I'm on Facebook , Instagram here .I've tried a factory reset and still no better ,does anyone have any ideas before I hit it with a hammer ⚒️

What make and model of phone is it?

We can’t really offer any advice without knowing what it is.

£100 will not buy you a "decent" phone unless you got a very, very good second hand deal. Facebook etc are pretty hefty apps for a low end phone- does the facebook lite version run any better?

moolady1977 · 28/01/2020 20:06

@JollyAndBright thought I'd put it on but didn't sorry it's a Motorola e6+

@bardlion for the money my oh had we were told it was a decent phone ,no Facebook lite doesn't work any better

How many apps do you have downloaded?
What is the memory situation? How much and how much is used/free?

A quick google suggests your problems are probably caused by the phones processor struggling to keep up with too many apps, Facebook looks to be a particularly bad one for causing more trouble that anything else.
I would delete Facebook first, you can bookmarks in in the mobile browser and use is there if it’s something you use a lot.

I would see if that makes a difference and go from there.
