Which headset for switch?

Hi all I know nothing about any of this, so which is a good heat set for my dc to use with switch when in handheld mode?

Parent of two gaming mad sons here. Don’t overthink it, we go through headsets galore here as someone is always stepping on one/losing it/being careless and I always seem to be replacing them.

So, don’t spend too much and make sure they are fairly robust.

If it's for handheld mode any 3.5mm jack phone earphones will do, it uses the same mic+speakers setup. Any 3.5mm jack headphones at all will do if DCs aren't using the mic.

If it's for on the TV, you'll need something else - preferably wireless or a long 3.5mm extension lead plus the attendant risks of wandering off while connected...

Thanks both - I thought I was safe from him wanting to chat but then today I don't know what's he's pressed but we can hear his friend. With no headset/mic Theresa no way for him to speak back.

I shall take a look and go with a cheap and cheerful to start us off.

Have a look to see if you have any old mobile phone ear phones lying around. Mine have used these in an emergency (and broken them, too!) and I couldn’t believe how many of them were in my useless drawer in the kitchen.
