Recommend me a fitness tracker

Can anyone recommend me a fitness tracker? I get lost looking at them all. Criteria is:
Compatible with iphone
Heart rate and step tracker
Not to big as I have tiny wrists
Not £££s - Apple Watch out of the question
Thank you!

As long as you accept the restrictions, the innate innacuracies of all of them, whatever the manufacturer, then whichever Fitbit you like / can afford would be OK.

They are what they are. Mine is 3 years old and working just as it did when I got it. It is fine be for me, I don't expect it to be 'right' but to give me a good idea of how I am doing day to day.

Oh... I have small wrists too. There size chart was accurate enough

I love my Nokia Steel. Samsung utterly suck.

Also recommend a Fitbit!

MustBeDueSomeBetterFeet · 28/01/2020 15:58

I had a little fitbit and really liked it (probably the same as the Inspire looking at the current range). The only thing that really annoyed me was not being able to get it wet.

I got a Withing for Christmas and that's great. Doesn't look like a fitness tracker but has all the functionality. Doesn't register as many steps as the Fitbit but I think it's cos it's more accurate, depressingly!

EssexGurl · 28/01/2020 15:58

Fitbit Alta HR. Nice and small and discrete.

MustBeDueSomeBetterFeet · 28/01/2020 15:58

Oh yes I should say, I can wear the Withings in the bath, in the shower, etc so it's made a real difference to keeping it on my wrist. It's the Steel HR.

Fitbit charge 3
Has option so you can get text/WhatsApp/incoming call notifications on the watch.
Is waterproof as well

strongswans · 28/01/2020 16:42

Thank you all, will have a look at the ones mentioned, I think waterproof would be the way to go too.

Don't discount a garmin

AlaskaElfForGin · 28/01/2020 16:45

I like the Fitbit Versa, they're on offer at the moment. I have small wrists too and thought it might look a bit daft but unlike the big face and look of it. It means I don't have to put my glasses on just to see the time. 😂

SpoonBlender · 28/01/2020 16:55

Fitbit Inspire HR - it's the newer replacement for the Alta HR and seems to be cheaper.

If you can stretch to £200 for the Apple Watch 3, they are really good at persuading you to be active. Or ask around to see if any friends have one in their techno-junk drawer.

strongswans · 28/01/2020 17:05

@Rosehipbubbles I did have a quick look at the garmins, don't suppose you can recommend any of them? Other than that the inspire hr looks like it fits the bill. I don't think fitbit are making the alta now

I have no faith in any step count but fitbit (I think I have a Charge2) does what you want. There is a 'small' wrist strap size. Say what your wrist circumf is, I could check how small my strap goes.

TheQueenBeyondTheWall · 28/01/2020 18:12

I have a charge 3 also. £100 in argos.

I like the fact it's waterproof and the battery lasts
Around five days.
