What do you need to bring other than a photo and the application? And your old passport, of course… I have just legally changed my name! So happy, but I'm not looking forward to changing all of the documents…

There should be a list on the website, but deed poll if you changed your name

Check the list!! Maybe birth certificate?
I was there last week and had a really stressful experience. I had all the docs it said I needed to renew dd passport but the guy behind the desk wanted me to produce my passport (which had not been on the list, but I brought along in a panic), and almost refused to accept my form because I had written additional notes in a box “for office use”. Other people there were stressing out as they were being told they didn’t have what they needed. So make sure you read the list of documents carefully!

You may need to bring evidence for the name change - deed poll, marriage cert or whatever. I'd prob take birth cert too just in case.
