  • have the time to make fitness a thing i could do everyday
  • have the confidence to open my jazz cafe
  • write that f*cking novel!
Fleamaker123 · 28/01/2020 21:50

Rid myself of shyness. It's blighted my life. I'm 51 now, it's got slightly better with age but hate the way it's dictated my life..

Nothing2doo · 28/01/2020 21:54

-No overthinking/anxiety here too.
-Faster growing hair and just a tad more fuller.

  • More quick-witted and articulate (being an introvert and deep thinker and overthinker are terrible verbal conversation- recipe. I often think of (better) responses after conversations or arguments have ended).
Srictlybakeoff · 28/01/2020 21:59
  • to be able to come back with fast witty responses ( I’m pretty boring)
  • to have longer slimmer legs
  • to be able to bake wonderful light as a feather cakes( never happens - although I try very hard )
Egghead68 · 28/01/2020 22:01

I’d have good health, be more confident and funnier socially and more attractive (I’d settle for the first at this stage).

I used to think money and a slim/fit figure help make you happy but now I’ve got both I realise that they are just nice-to-haves.

Dancingandthedreaming · 28/01/2020 22:02

The ability not to eat my feelings, less perfectionism, courage to ditch screens in favour of quality analogue activities I used to have time to do!

To everyone who wishes they could sing, I wish I could get you all together in a mumsnet choir and teach you all. It can be learnt and I run a choir full of lovely people who claim they're no good yet make an amazing sound together! Hardly anyone is really tone deaf (amusia) and if they are they tend to die quite young because they can't distinguish sounds of danger eg nee naw of an approaching speeding police car about to run them over... Find a choir for beginners and have a go, it's a muscle that gets stronger and it makes you so happy!

TSSDNCOP · 28/01/2020 22:06

I would have patience and an even temper.
I would be kinder to my mum who’s really lovely.
I would enjoy exercise and do it every day.

myidentitymycrisis · 28/01/2020 22:09

Deep smokers lines around my top lip

Lack of confidence
My sharp tongue

LadyWithLapdog · 28/01/2020 22:10

Have better memory.

The memory I have, not waste it on holding grudges against people who’ve wronged me.

Procrastinate less.

MeanwhileAtNumber98 · 28/01/2020 22:11

Overthinking
Self doubt
Ability to put weight on so easily.

I want to change those things so much I posted twice 😂😂

IDontDrinkTea · 28/01/2020 22:17

I wouldn’t be tired

I wish I wasn’t such a picky eater

I wish I could speak DH’s mother tongue

Flower8919 · 28/01/2020 22:18

My height! I wish I was taller. I would sacrifice the other two changes just for that!

SewButtons · 28/01/2020 22:23

Better mental health
Better physical health
Those two would sort out most of the genuine problems in my life so I’d like thicker hair as my third choice.

livefornaps · 28/01/2020 22:26

My past
My present
My future

Lolololol

Flowers18 · 28/01/2020 22:36

Over thinking, my boobs as their to big for my tiny frame ha and my bloody size 3 children’s feet 😂

AllNewThings · 28/01/2020 22:42

I'd like to not have so much baggage. It feels like I am constantly at war with my own mental health.

I'd like to not be so fat (it makes me look just like my mother).

I'd like to have more healthy relationships in my life.

SluggishSnail · 28/01/2020 22:48

I guess on a day to day level, being thinner and younger looking/generally more attractive would be good (50 and a bit plump)

But the main thing I'd like to change is the constant striving for something else (related to ambition, but not exactly the same), which means I'm always looking for the next step forward and never entirely contented with where I am. It's more a work thing than a home thing, but I don't think it's a good thing.

cushioncovers · 28/01/2020 22:55

My weight
My frequent migraines
My financial situation

YeOldeTrout · 28/01/2020 23:03

Fix my teeth. Stop feeling bad about the past. Be braver in general.

PrawnSacrifice · 28/01/2020 23:22

Cure my mental health issues, anxiety and depression

Increased self confidence

To be content

lilsquish · 29/01/2020 05:42
  1. For the nuclear bomb that went off in my family to not have happened.
  2. A new nose
  3. Less temper
Thesuzle · 29/01/2020 05:52

Or
Boundless energy
Determination
My dad alive

bumblingbovine49 · 29/01/2020 06:01

Enough money to pay for a.personal chef/ cook to make delicious but also nutritious and healthy meals for me

To be more aware of my emotions and therefore more in control of how I express them.

To have more patience and less irritation when I am frustrated.
