Hi All,

My daughter is now 21 months old. About 6 months ago she was diagnosed with suspected viral induced asthma. She has been at nursery since she was 7 months old. She started at 3 days per week and now goes 4 days per week. HOWEVER, still to this day she is always poorly. She catches everything, all the infections, hand foot and mouth, colds etc. This used to develop into an asthma attack straight away however she is now on the preventer in-hailer which has helped massively with the attacks but she still gets poorly all the time. Over the weekend, she developed a chest infection with induced an asthma attack and resulted in an ambulance. She hasn’t done a full week at nursery I’m over 3 months, she has at least 1-2 days off per week. I work 4 days a week and my partner works full time aswell. Financially, we have to work! Luckily, my mum is helpful and can have her some days but she is slightly disabled and I feel bad if she has her more than 1 day a week. What can I do? I’m considering a childminder? But is this better? I can’t keep having days off work but I feel so bad for my daughter when she falls ill, I just want to keep her cooped up at home but I know this isn’t possible. Every single week for the last 3-6 months!! Helppppppp please! X

Could you afford a junior nanny?

Or maybe spend a bit of money on an experienced private consultant
who might be able to help her stay healthy a bit more?
