What’s the quietest time to visit Disneyland paris ?

We went a few years ago 16-20th December and it surpassed my expectations. We all loved it. Queues not too bad, especially if you use EMM. Going back this year to stay in DLH. Xmas is magical and I wouldn't want to go any other time of the year. If your dc has SEN you can get a green card which helps you jump queues.
Join Disneyland Paris for brits on Facebook. Lots of good information there.

We did a few days before May half term. Bunked DD out of school by phoning her in with D&V (and therefore a handy 48hr exclusion period).

I think we went the Wednesday before to the Sunday of the first weekend of the school holiday. It was lovely and quiet on Wed-Saturday morning. Picked up on Saturday and was majorly busy on the Sunday but we just had the morning before heading home on the train.

We stayed in one of their hotels and had our luggage taken directly there. We had to queue at the station to drop it off but it was perfect after that, we just had backpacks with our things in and went straight into the park after collecting our tickets on the train.

I have a friend who is just back from DLP this week.

She had a ball- she has a primary aged dc who has asd and they all had an amazing time. Half the battle is just accepting that it’s going to be cold, so just prepare properly for it.

I’ve only been to Paris or Florida when it was absolutely melting hot, so it was weird seeing her photos with everyone all bundled up in proper winter gear!

Terrible - can I ask how old your friends child was? Do you know if they stayed on site?

He’s 6 I think- they stayed at Santa Fe.

We stayed at a much cheaper “off site” circus themed hotel last summer and it was so handy it might as well have been a Disney Hotel!

We went the week before the school Christmas holidays (around 15th-18th) and it was really quiet midweek. Dead cheap too. A lovely time to go as it was so pretty with all the festive stuff going on. We were lucky with the weather as it can be quite cold / wet.
Downside is the parks close early (about 6 I think) but as we have young children that was fine.

I've also been in early June and it wasn't too busy (but not as quiet as December).

We went the first week of the summer holidays - last week in July and it was busy but less so than we’d expected plus the weather was perfect. Make use of magic hour if you are staying in a Disney hotel and the lull between about 6pm until the fireworks is usually a good time to get on rides with longer queue times in the day. Make use of fast pass and single rider where you can and if you have very young children you can do a parent swap so you only need to queue once. The second parent gets on when the other parent gets off.

It's also worth showing you this @Greenbutterlfy566 if you want to work to a budget. The rail link is cheap and fast, so stay in any of the places down from Marne la Vallee and it gets cheaper.
DH and I stayed in a ridiculously cheap travelodge type place a few stops down in Torcy, it's a 15 minute journey right to the gate. the closer you get to the park the more expensive.

DD and her partner have just stayed in the main hotel for her DP's Birthday and even with her annual pass discount it was eye watering.

I’ve always thought that half the fun is staying on site , but I appreciate that may just be me . We used to mainly stay at The New York but started going to the Disneyland hotel ( pink palace) about 8/9 yrs ago and it’s so convenient for popping in and out I don’t think we’d stay anywhere else now .
