Where to go on holiday?

Can anyone suggest a holiday destination?
Restrictions are:
No more than 4 hours flying
Near a beach with self catering accommodation
Fairly flat as my son is a wheelchair user during the day
Either a drive location holiday (so Europe by euro tunnel) but not too much driving.
It's for May half-term so I know not the cheapest time to travel.
Any recommendations?

Not France or Spain as we've done that quite a lot. We've done lazorote and tenerife so not sure about other caneries.

Will Scotland be warm? We could potentially do that in the summer if dh will agree the 15 hours drive :-)

Scotland takes about 8 hours tops. I recommend Normandy it's France but a different bit. We drove to Italy via Germany which was great (be sure to go through Bavaria, it's beautiful) most self catering sites have wheelchair accessible accommodation and the Veneto part of Italy is flat. Flying how about Portugal?

Scotland was warm when I went last May, though I felt lucky to have picked the right week.

There are parts of Devon that may be suitable.

Other than that, agree with the Normandy suggestion.

We stayed at Pierre et Vacances Moliets in May and liked the fact that two of the pools are heated. The organised children’s activities start in April, so they were already up and running when we arrived. It’s pedestrianised and very flat.

Thank you for all the excellent ideas.
