Does your 9yo have an email address?

DD is asking for an email address. She’s about to move schools and she wants to be able to stay in touch with friends via email (she doesn’t have a phone and the moderation on Roblox is such that lots of messages get blocked)

I’ve spent the weekend saying I don’t see the need but then we tried setting up a wizarding world account for her and that seems to want her to have an email address too (we exhausted all mine on Pottermore )

So I’m a bit stumped. What do other people do?

Yes, my 6&9 year old. But it's registered to [DD][Me][surname] and only I know the password.
I intend at some point in the future to drop my name out and hand over the password.

My 9 year old has a gmail account. He can read his emails on the iPad but they also come through on my phone, so I get a notification when he has mail. It's mostly game related spam.
