Ever radically changed your style?

I've been a jeans and sweatshirt woman for decades. Never wear skirts dresses or feminine clothes.

I'm bored with my clothes and have bought eg leggings and a tunic thing. Don't wear it.

Have you ever managed to at least widen the range of clothes you wear, if not actually radically change your "uniform" look? How did you do it?!

I'm losing weight huzzar and I think it's this which is making me feel perhaps I would like to wear more funky feminine cool clothes. But how do I deal with that reflection in the mirror that says "oooh this is not you, take it off at once"?

Yes, I did! Pre-children I was slim and relatively toned and loved clothes and shopping. Pregnancies left me saggy and buggered my tummy muscles and I couldn’t lose the baby weight. So I lived in jeans and baggy T-shirt’s as I hated clothes shopping.

A couple of years ago I decided to lose weight, stop eating crap and get fitter. I was surprised at how quickly I lost weight and enjoyed exercising. I also started to enjoy clothes shopping again and trying different styles. I now wear lots of midi dresses/trainers, skinny jeans and jumpers in bright colours.

If I feel unsure of my appearance or outfit I remind myself nobody else cares what I wear and what’s the worst that can happen if I wear it??

The next thing I need to get a handle on is my hair. It’s too fine and straight.
