Looking for some help from the collective wisdom of mumsnet.
I need a new backpack. I have 2 small children so I carry it everywhere, I'd like it to look passable when out for a day in town but also fit for purpose when we're out for a day hiking/biking. It needs to be robust and waterproof. Internal pockets/sections etc would be great.
I don't want it to look too much like a hiking backpack, so I've rejected most of the osprey ones (has been my go to choice previously when I just used for outdoors activities).
I really like the look of the fjallraven Greenland and foldtop but I'm not sure how good they are in terms of waterproofing etc and think they're really for commuting usage. I quite like the Lowe alpine klettersack but I wondered if anyone had any other suggestions.
A bonus if I could have it in a nice burnt orange/red colour!
