Apart from loo and food...and it's becoming a bit of a pattern. Not ill of anything just don't want to do anything and leaving the house seems insurmountable. For everything thing to do there is an unthing.

For example:
Should go do dance class (will be terrible at dance class and feel worse)
Should do fitness in park (park muddy and cold, people)
Should have a run and ride bike in park (running highly unpleasant, will probably cycle into toddler)
Should buy nutritious food for week and batch cook (can't face alternate freezing and boiling going in and out of shops, food expensive, hate washing up)

This is a new low if I'm honest as dance and cooking usually get me going.

What are you all up to? Any small manageable tasks I can copy that aren't totally impossible??

Sorry for the delay in reply. @turnandfacethenamechange

Yes, it has definitely affected my weight. I've always looked after my weight, but in the last year it has been harder and harder to keep off to the point I'm basically existing on leaves and even then I've put some on.

Sounds like a test wouldn't be a bad idea?

Thyroid absolutely effects your weight. It also makes your hair thin (especially eyebrows) and your skin dry.

Aaah see I've got the opposite, it doesn't go on me no matter how much pita bread I eat. I've always thought I just metabolise calories quickly (possible due to constant anxiety 😂)

Turnandface haha, there’s many a folk would love to be able to eat unlimited pita with no weight penalty to pay. I’m the same with weight, not quite sure how I’ve managed it but I can pretty much eat what I want. It’s bound to chan fee at some point though!
Just a thought but have you tracked your anxiety / moods with your periods? It could be hormonal? A contraceptive pill could help even things out, or it might be perimenopause depending on your age but it’s always worth tracking your cycles to see if it’s cyclical as that’s really good clinical evidence to bring to your gp.

I’m dying to see your clay models btw!

I don't get my period actually, the mini pill seemed to have turned it off. I've never been able to get an answer from Google about whether I still have a cycle (Inc PMS etc) when am not ovulating. Here's a bunny. He's only the third model I've ever made so not very good!

May still be worth getting a blood test as something sounds "not right".

If it is something, at least it hasn't affected your talent as that bunny is marvellous.

Hellbentwellwent · 27/01/2020 15:31

Omg that bunny is gorgeous!

On another note though, maybe trying a different pill might help? There have been strong links between mental health side effects and contraceptive pills

turnandfacethenamechange · 28/01/2020 09:05

Ah thanks you. Making little models in unbelievably soothing. I can sit for hours and hours doing it!
