Anyone else find card writing really awkward?

I’m not a particularly expressive or creative person but do show affection in real life. But I just can’t get over the awkwardness of writing in a card.
When birthday cards come round at work I see other people have written these long personal messages but I just find it so cringe so generally stick to “happy birthday”
With valentines coming up I’d like to write something nice and meaningful in DPs card as he’s not having a great time at the moment but I just can’t think of the words and find writing it so awkward! Anyone else?

Just me then 😂 any words of wisdom in that case for writing a lovely but sincere message?

Same here. No words of wisdom, but you're not alone.

I always struggle writing cards.
I now just buy a card with a message / wording that is right for the occasion.

Actions speak louder than words
