Cotton beach coverups

Might be a bit early in the year but I'm starting to look for something to wear over bikini in the hotel.
Must be cotton. Made the mistake last year of viscose, and found it very uncomfortable.
I'm 6 feet tall too.

I have never found one. But then I always want a cover-up that covers my shoulders, too. No point in a cover-up that still lets me burn! I ended up making my own.

Not difficult to make if you can sew a straight seam and hem on a machine. I think the biggest hurdle would be finding appropriate fabric that is fine enough.
I know what you mean about not wanting any viscose.

I bought one or two a couple of years ago from John Lewis though which were an Australian make (can't remember the brand though) and they are lovely.

Sadly I can't sew buttons on.

Lots of lovely things here ... www.aspiga.com/ (I adore them from afar as I imagine they will make me 5”11 and a size 8, not 5”2 and size 14)

100% cotton muslin brought by the meter, sew the edges....voila. perfect.

I would go for a sarong. Even more multi functional than women.

You can wear it as a dress, as a skirt with a bikini top, cossie or a Tshirt, a substitute lightweight “beach towel” for sunbed or beach and use as a dressing gown.
