I did chuckle at the sad, lonely IKEA Kallax stuck in the corner of pic 10. Looked so out of place amongst the rest of the hideous old furniture.

Wow! It is such a strange mixture. It does look a bit 1970s successful criminal but then the little office looks so out of place.

All that's missing is a mural featuring Wayne Rooney as a cherub.

The bathrooms are hideous but the space in the house and the light are wonderful.

It looks like it was refurbished but without builders being present. It really needs to have walls knocked down to make a big bright kitchen. The bathroom in photo five and the wardrobes are particularly awful and the same marble/marble effect pillars throughout the house are dreadful. It looks such a mix of tastes. I think someone from the Middle East who tried to recreate their home in the UK.

It looks very Grecian in style. A stab in the dark with that one.

It can't decide what it is! You jump from the bathrooms (enough said) to the bedroom with everything in plastic containers.

9 bed detached house in the Lake District, for £500k less than the 3bed semi with stagnant pool.

Dear me, that is just awful.

It's quite hard to spend that much around my way, but this is the nearest, which I rather like. I'd have to learn to ride, though.

Definitely moderately sized Arab or Asian family. The interior is exactly like well to do (but not that well traveled) family homes in India.

Never mind who lives there, what sort of person would hand over 3.3 million, or even think 'I wonder if they'd knock a few grand off the asking price'?

It's the pink marble columns. The wardrobes and stuff are easier to deal with because you can rip it out and get something new and neutral put it in. But the marble is more structural than that

When we lived in the Middle East there was a style of decor known as ‘Louis Faroukh’ - no prizes for guessing.
