Evening all, does anyone have a recommendation for a nice restaurant on a budget? Smile

I can't remember the name of them, but there are at least a couple of buffet type places in China Town. It'll be really busy this weekend though, so leave plenty of time

No recommendations sorry, but I clicked on this assuming someone was going to be paranoid about visiting Chinatown due to Coronavirus!

Haha , same as @sparkli

As Thor said , it will be very busy up there this whole weekend.

we've been to London Orient a few times...it's on Wardour street....just down from the Chinatown Gate and across the road and up from M&Mworld!

Super scary lady in charge of seating...no fear of table hoggers, but once you are in she's really lovely :o
We had arranged to meed DS1 and GF there and hadn't thought to book a table, it turned out to be busy AF but she kept control of the folks waiting, got everyone seated and told off DS1 when he arrived for being late :o

we got tangled up in the Chinese New Year celebrations one year....I used to live in London and DH (then BF) would visit, and we were idly daundering about, got swept up in the crowds and then the dancing lions or are they dragons? and the drums and the noise!!
